MCA hosts activities both on and off campus. On campus media events include Media Day and 6 Hour Film Festival. Off campus events include the various field trips.
MCA is a ​three-year volunteer program that begins at the student's sophomore year, is partially funded through the California Department of Education, and follows the California Partnership Academy model.
