Sophomores
Sophomores take 4 MCA classes: English, World History, Spanish, and Intro to Media and Design
Sophomore events include Buddy Breakfast, where they are paired with a senior MCA student.
Sophomore field trips include the Ropes Course at Sac State in the fall, and the overnight trip to the Bay Area in January.
Juniors
Juniors take 4 MCA classes: English, U.S. History, Spanish, and Intermediate Media and Design.
Junior field trips include Old Sacramento, and Union Cemetery in the fall, and the week-long trip to the central coast in April.
Seniors
Seniors take 4 MCA classes: English, Economics/Government, Spanish, and Advanced Media and Design.
Senior events include Buddy Breakfast, where they are paired with a sophomore MCA student, Senior Circle, and Senior Night.
Senior field trips include the week-long trip to the central coast in April.
All years
All students will sign and adhere to the MCA Student Contract. Failure to maintain attendance, GPA, and behavioral expectations will lead to students removing themselves from the academy.
Annual activities include Super Star Lunches for the top students in each class.
All MCA students are invited to MCA Awards Night in May.
